This guide is for clients who have taken over hosting of their own website and occasionally want me to make a change. It covers how to request a change, what it costs, and how I get access to your site to make the update.
How to request a change
Send an email to nick@neobookworm.uk with: what you’d like changed (as specific as you can be — e.g. “Change the call-out price on the Services page from £75 to £85”), any new wording, photos or information to add, and whether there’s a deadline. No need to worry about the technical detail — just describe what you want the end result to look like.
How I access your site
Because your website is hosted on your own Netlify account, you’ll need to add me as a collaborator before I can make any changes. This takes about two minutes and you can remove me again at any time.
Step 1 — Log in to netlify.com and click on your website. Go to Site Configuration or Settings.
Step 2 — In the left-hand menu, find “Collaboration” or “Team & access”.
Step 3 — Click “Invite member”, enter nick@neobookworm.uk, set the role to “Collaborator” (not Owner), and send the invite.
Step 4 — Email me to confirm you’ve sent the invite. I’ll accept it and let you know when the changes are done.

I’ll always confirm the price before starting. If a request looks like it might take more than half an hour, I’ll let you know the likely cost before doing anything. No surprise invoices.
Turnaround and payment
I aim to respond to all change requests within 24 hours and complete most straightforward changes within 2–3 working days. Payment is handled through Stripe — once I’ve completed the changes, I’ll send you a secure payment link by email.
